Finally got around to get into my room and doing some scrapping. Seems like life has been in the way way to much. Love spending time back there but can really see I need new glasses I can't even believe how bad my eyes are. Need to wear my computer glasses all the time. Looking forward to seeing eye doctor the end of the month.

Any way this is what I came up with I hope you like her.

Paper is Basic Grey Out of Print, copics for dress is B21, 24, 26, hat is y26, 21, 11 and hair is E74, 41, 70.

Played a little today got two cards done today. It was fun being in my scrappy place for a change.

The first card is BG Hopscotch with a magnolia image it has a tim holtz memo pin holding the Happy Birthday.

The second card is Bo Bunny paper with a Sara K image and it has a tim Holtz Bird cage and has a lot of glimmer mist sprayed on it every where.

I finally felt well enough to get some time in the scraproom it felt so good. Got the layout completed now need to clean up the table since I think I had everything in my room out at one time or another. The card stock on the bottom started out kind of creamy brown and then I started to work on it with glimmer mist, distressing inks and played.

I used 4 different tattered angels glimmer mist on it and two colors vintage photo and stormy sky also. The paper is Bo Bunny Etc. and I played with it too lots of glimmer mist and distressing ink. The embellishments are prima, tim Holtz, and 7 gypsy.

Just finished what I hope is the last Christmas card of 2011. The paper is My Minds Eye the stamp is Stampvie by Laurence Designs. I colored the stamp on cyrogen paper with copics and the ribbon was from my stash have no idea what or who made it.

Came home tonight and decided I wasn't going to do anything else till I got a card made for the 7 Kids College Fund challenge. Since it closed on Wednesday this was kind of my last chance.

This week the Challenge was to do a Christmas Card in non-Christmas Colors.

So I pulled out one of my new Tilda's and played along. This is Sparkle Tilda from the New Sweet Dreams Christmas Collection.

I colored her in B01, Bo2 and Bo5 Her apron is RV10, RV11, RV13, Hair is E23, E50, E51 and E53 Skin is e000, e00 and e11.

The Tag is cut with Tim Holtz Ticket die for the sizzix and then stamped with distressing inks. Paper is all Bo Bunny and the snowflakes were cut on the Expression with last years Christmas Lite Cartridge.

Hey everyone 11 at night and I finally made it to my scrap room. I was really inspired by Suzanne Dean's Challenge at CMC Copic Challenge Group.

I never ever think to color hair in strange colors and I decided to try this challenge since it would force me to do something I normally don't.

I ended up doing a very very simple card because I'm so tired but I had fun doing it :)

Played last night and today. I love to color it's my way of relaxing so I spend a lot of evenings watching tv and coloring. Today I finally took the time to sit down and make a card. I suppose I have about 30 or 40 images sitting waiting for cards.

Today I played with some Odd Girl Images, these were all digitals they were colored with copics and the paper is Graphic 45 Magic of Oz.

Had fun playing this afternoon I've been working on my card and cleaning in between working on the card and coloring.

I actually had time to play! I did a card tonight using two of my most fave Magnolia's. The gears are chipboard covered in glimmer mist and glimmer glam. The key is tim Holtz grunge board covered in the same glimmer mist and glam.

Finally got to play today. I colored this last night and finished it up this morning. The stamp is Lala Land, the sentiment and the cat are both Close to my Heart. The paper is Basic Grey Basic White with it sprayed with Gold Tattered angel Mist and Maya Road Sunflower Yellow. the edges are all touched with Dried Marigold distress ink.

The dress is YR 61, 65, 68, the gree is YG 61, 65, 68, Little pumpkin bucket is yr04, 07, 09, skin is e000, e00, e11, r30.

Hi all long time no see been working way to many hours but I snuck away for a weekend scrapbooking retreat. I made a bunch of cards but sold them all before I even left the retreat and managed to leave the retreat :)

Finally got to play this weekend we had a family reunion this weekend it was almost all cousins my mom was the only of the original family still with us and she's 80. I'll post some pictures after I put my card up.

The paper is Crate Paper Restoration, The shirts and apron over lay is colored with B32, 34, 37 boys pants are BV23, 25, 29, dress and socks y11, 13, 18, skin is E000, 00, 01, 11 blush is r20.

Played today unfortunately have to go back to work on Monday. I colored this beautiful little girl with copics b97, 95, 93, 91 jeans, bv000, b01, b02 shirt, E30, 31, 35, 37, 18 hair, ladybug r35,37, 39 grass yg91, 93, 95

The paper is Fancy Pants Beach Bum the stamp is cut out with the smallest of the Grand Oval Nesties and the smallest Grand Oval Scalloped Nesties and the flowers are Wild Orchard.

Felt like doing something a little different. I've never seen the pirates in any color but Black, red and shades of those. I'm sure they have been colored in other colors I just haven't seen them.

So I went with browns and oranges the browns are E 44, 43, 42, 41 and the orange is yr9, 4, 00

Played a little this weekend. The first is from the new Sweet Rainbow Magnolia's I tried to give it a distressed feel can't decide if I managed or not.

I love the way it colored up but not happy with the final outcome. Oh well I guess we never like our own work. the image is a Sarah Kay Love her images they remind me of the old Hobby Hollies from the 70's.

I spent all day yesterday in my scraproom cleaning and putting stuff away to just make a mess of it again today. I'm working on an envelope mini album it's very slow going but I also played with my copics today and made this card I'm really really happy with it.

The stamp is an Elizabeth Bell design Whiff of Joy. the paper is all K and Company I used R35, 37 and 39 Along with YG 21, 23, and 25, the skin is E000, E00 and E11, the dots around her are bg10, 11, 000 and YG 21, the green around her feet that makes the grass and shadow is YG 91, 93, 95.

I distressed all of the paper with Scattered Straw distressing ink and cut her with spellbinder Label 1 Mega.

Scarecrow Magnaolia

Home today dealing with pain from the RA and Fibro add to many meds and now the sick stomach is kicking in....after the pain gets under control. So to keep my mind off the sick stomach I decided to color one of the new Rainbow Magnolias.

There is a challenge at the OUTLAWZ to do some type of paper craft project in Brown, Cream and Silver. since I don't have much brown I went with Dark brown cream and Silver along with Kraft. I love to monochromatic coloring, and I thought this Maggie was perfect for the monochromatic coloring.

I used W00, 0, 3, 5, 7, 9 for my coloring. Thank you so much for looking.

I played tonight did the copic challenge on Outlawz which was to use your blending pen. I dotted my dress and also feathered my background. I sewed the one layer with my sew easy and sprayed my flowers and gems with my copic markers with my air compressor.

Went to the scraproom and made myself put together a card. I've been coloring but not putting cards together. It really felt good to make a card and see it completed. I forgot how much I love the creative feel of looking through papers and matching them up.

I am hoping now that I'm feeling better I can get back to spending one afternoon a weekend in the scraproom doing scrappy stuff.

Any way here is my card the image is one of the new STORY TIME SweetArt Girls Collection Elisabeth Bell stamp by Belles & Whistles I really love these stamps of course I love Elisabeth Bell's designs they are always so cute. the paper is DCWV and bazzill.

I sprayed the bottom flower with copic using canned air. I sprayed it before I got my compressor, if you are going to do much airbrushing go with the air compressor you can pay it off in about 5 cans of air; especially if you get the little compressor from Harbor Freight.

The happy birthday label is one of the newer spellbinders.

Hi all know it's been a while I've been having health issues but I did get one thing completed! YEAH! I completed one of my bucket list items, I'm now a Copic Certified Designer and plan on taking the Advance class once it comes back to this area. If anyone in the southeastern Ohio region needs an instructor I'm available.

I've not been doing to many cards but I've been coloring a lot so need to find the time to move into the scrap room and put some of them together. I've been on a leave of absence from my DT's till I get feeling better hope to pick them back up once this cruddy weather leaves Ohio and my joints stop hurting.

I hope all are doing well. I miss my posts and making cards and will get busy soon! Hugs and prayers to all of my dear friends that are dealing with troubles and aches and pains.

Kind of thought if I needed to do a card myswell make use of it.

This isn't a very good picture it's cloudy and rainy out so had trouble getting a decent picture.

Show of Hands

How many of you have ever been an evening without internet? I got home last night and found that I had internet but it wasn't good, it kept logging off by 5:30 it was gone. Shortly after that the cable died. Of course immediately I was trying to figure out what was going on.

So of course unplug and plug the modem back in thinking it needs reset. Then the cable thinking something there, eventually the call to the cable company. "Oh we have an outage in your area we are looking into it." Two hours later still nothing, 3 hours later still no cable or internet.

Thankfully I at least had the dvd and could color. So finally at 9 at night I see flashing lights and go investigate. HOORay! Cable people are outside! Needless to say everyone on our street were out seeing if they were going to get us back on. Something on the line froze. Some how water got into it and the water froze and caused it to kill what ever in the heck it was.

So long and short of this story at 10 last night I finally got cable and internet back. Never realized how dependent I was on the noise of the TV and the connection I have through the internet to all of my cyber friends.

So any way I also want to remind every one that THE OUTLAWZ have a big party coming up.

And Karel's big BIRTHDAY BASH is still going on.

New Card Qualifies for Several Challenges

We have a nasty day outside cold and rainy we had snow last night but the rain today has melted it. The wind has blown all morning. I woke up to a migraine brought on by the weather but after a couple of doses of meds it's finally done.

So I took the time to put a card together for a couple of challenges that are up right now. The paper is all older My Minds Eye. Both images are from the New Magnolia release "So Special".

Not one but two announcements this morning!!! YEAH!!!

This is from the new So Special Collection I believe he is Need a Hug Edwin, I just love his little vest and tie. I love Ambrosia BG and he was perfect to color up with the paper.

Edwin's face looks washed out in the photo but in real life it's not and the shadow looks better I think it's the poor light I had since it was taken in my living room after dark.

I colored my first Mini yesterday man are they small! Wow! really an interesting coloring. The card is for my granddaughter's Valentine.

Here is the card I made the outside has Dinner Tilda and the inside has the mini Dinner tilda. the paper is all Jenni Bowlin, I used R39,37,35 for her outfit, shoes are c07, 06,05, 04 and her hair is done with y11, 21, 26.

I know I need to get better with my updating but I have been playing.

This is one of my favorites:

The image is Sarah Kay and the paper is Basic Grey.

This card also has Basic grey the background is colored with distressing ink and then coated with iridescent water color medium. Both the background and the little girl is magnolia and the little girl is colored with copics.

I've been a busy beaver the last few days. I have several birthdays at work this month so I got busy and made cards:

Image is magnolia and paper is all K & Co I believe.

The Happy Birthday and Just a note are Close to my heart Stamps. The scollop and tag were both sprayed with my home made glimmer mist.

Inside and out side of one of the cards...this one went to our director.

paper is K & Co, image is Magnolia from the Fairy Tale Collection, the copics were all from the RV family for her dress, the ribbon is maya Road, the little roses were Magnolia's.

This one went to a young lady that started out working in my area of the offic and is now a counselor so proud of her.

Image is CC Design the paper is so old I have no idea who made it and it's the few scraps I had left of it.

This one is for a friend I thought just needed something to brighten her day.

Edwin from Magnolia is the boy stamp, Happy Birthday is SU, the hinge was cut out with tim Holtz sizzix then crackle coated, sanded, distressed and finally a second coat of crackle.

Sarah Kay Image for the little girl, stamp for happy birthday is SU, the tulips are magnolia and the bottom punch is Martha Stewart. The paper was mostly Jenni Bowlin and Create Restoration

And last but not least I don't think I've shared these yet. The little boy is for one of the guys at work and the Sarah Kay image is a just because.

Good morning when you don't feel good enough to do much it's surprising how much you can get done with crafts. Still not over the stupid crappy bronchitis stuff but feeling better every day finally got most of my voice back still breaks occasionally.

Since it's still snowing and as all of you know I HATE Snow, I came home and colored and then made a card.

The card was based on a sketch at The Outlawz, I used Jenni Bowlin, Crate Paper Restoration and bazzil card stock. The stamp is a Sarah Kay Stampvie colored with Copics and the flowers are Magnolia's. I used cryogen White for my stamped image.

Hi all found a little time to play before the Ohio State game. Here is what I came up with.

The roses are red in real life I took this after dark I'll try to get some better photos tomorrow if I get home early enough. The roses are sprayed with my home made glimmer mist. The stamps are all magnolia and colored with Copics. The paper is mostly Tim Holtz and the happy birthday stamp is Close to my Heart.

Still working on Christmas cards, this one is for my DIL. Tilda is colored with the dark reds R35, 37, 39 and G02, 7, 9 The trees were cut out with my expression and I used the puffy snow to give them some dimension along with pop dotting so there is three levels. The poinsettia is making memories that I sprayed with glimmer mist to brighten up.

Another Christmas card just 4 more and I have them all made for the packages. Another Magnolia this is Edwin I did a lot of different things on this card that's not showing up in the picture. All of the back ground paper was stamped on the top three layers, the flower and the holly leaves all were stamped with distressing ink and then distressing embossing on top of that. I love tthe way it all came out.

Lots of Tim Holtz goodies the strip is Tim Holtz tape with stamping, distressing and distress embossing on top of it, the ticket is also tim Holtz it's cut with his sizzix, stamped with his stamps and then distressed with his inks all Fire Brick and Vintage Photo. The swirl behind Edwin is cut with his sizzix die also.

This for a copic class I'm taking. I had fun playing with some non-Christmas colors to come up with a cute Christmas card.

I used the following colorsBG13, 11, 10; R24, 22,20; Y38, 35, 32, 04, 02, 00, skin is E000, 00, 01, 11 and hair is E27, 37, 35, 33.

The paper is My minds Eye Laundry Line the flower is made using Tim Holtz Tattered floral sizzix die the ticket from his ticket die and his ticket stamps, the scrolls are also Tim Holtz and it's is tattered scrolls.

HI all! Not much going on here but I did want to invite everyone to a new blog we are getting set up.

It's called Copic Outlaws we are hoping to get challenges and other fun things going after the first of the year. For the present it's just a few friends talking and getting organized. Played yesterday afternoon and did a tag but not happy with it looks nothing like what Tim come up with. Oh well that's life, heading to my scrap room in a few minutes to put some cards together. Need to see if I can figure out how to make 4 money envelopes. I should have ran to the bank yesterday and picked one up so I could tear it apart and use for a pattern.

Here is my very very sad attempt at doing a tag like Tim Holtz 12 Days of Christmas.

I hope all of you have a great day we are getting snow right now supposed to have between 3 and 5 inches by the end of the day I'm already tired of winter.

I'm so looking forward to the weekend. I'm going to start on my package tags and wrapping. i may even get really busy and dig out the little tree and put it up.

I'm going to use some of the ideas that Tim Holtz is using for his 12 Days of Christmas for my tags. I also want to try to make some paper bows don't know if I'll manage that. I'll post when I get them done though :)

BTW, as you all know I HATE snow and guess what we have coming in for the weekend? one guess???

GROWL!!! It's snowing for those of you that don't know me I HATE snow.

Unfortunately, since it is snowing it's hard for me to get a good picture of my newest card. I even designed a cricut cut out with my gypsy I had fun with the designing but sure need more work with it. But for my first try I was pretty happy.

The stamp of the doll is a Magnolia from the 2010 Christmas collection. She is colored with copics and stamped with momento ink. The sentiment stamp is Close to my heart the stamps were all cut out with spellbinders with my Sizzix Big shot. Never thought I would own two die cut machines but they sure both have their own place in scrapping and card making.

I played this weekend I love to color with copics! And I'm in love with Cryogen paper.

This first card is a Mo Manning image the stamp is from Stampvie:

This is a magnolia stamp I'm sorry it's not real straight or light unfortunately I took it after dark :(

and this last is me playing with my new Cricut expression. I love the little bags I can make and the stamp is magnolia and is colored with copics.

Mojo back

Hi all started taking a wonderful copic Class at simply Scrapping (btw, still time to join) But, it caused problems with my coloring I'm finally getting it back. this is my latest card. Wish I could get a good picture to show you all the sparkles on it everything and I do mean everything was sprayed with Glitter mist and lost of stickles and copics .

The Stamp is from Magnolia and called Snowy Hugs. I think this is one of the best stamps from this release.

Here is a close up of the coloring I was pretty happy with it I used the R39, 37, and 35 reds normally I find they don't blend well but they seemed to work well on the xpress paper. the jeans are B91-93-95-97 you can see but I used the silver pen on the hats and in real life they just sparkle. I also used the magnolia doohicky dies for the snow flakes and the holy leaves.

Sorry I've not posted in a while....Life has been busy but I have played a little. These are my latest play things including the book I made for my magnolia's.

This little book holds a stamp of all my Magnolia's along with their name and what collection they are from. i found a few mistakes so I'll need to pull it apart when I run out of pages and make some changes but that's ok. This will keep me from ordering duplicates. My next book will be all of my CC's my Whiff of Joy and the rest of my stamp.

I had my beautiful granddaughter Teagan this weekend along with my grandpuppy Ripley. Teagan is such an easy baby to take care of she was good as gold. You could tell she wasn't happy but she didn't fuss or anything she just wanted held a lot. She wanted her mommy ;)

After she left I got to play and colored these two cards: this first one is my favorite.

This second card is the way I normally do cards very plain and simple.

I got to play with my copics and mangolia's this week. Here are a couple of cards the pumpkin card is from Elizabeth Dulemba coloring page Tuesday's. She does some of the most amazing art and they are perfect to color with copics and my granddaughter loves to color them.

I also colored this Maggie there are a bunch of Birthday's this month at work.

One of the ladies up in admissions does so much that helps me out day after day. She puts all of the codes on our system that makes my students load their one grant on. I don't know what I would do without her. this is the card I made to tell her thank you.

The big die cut flower was cut with Tim Holtz Tattered florals, the flourish was cut with TH elegant flourish the oval was nessabilities and the tag was the cuttle bug labels I think #1 the paper is BG white and magnolia paper and the paper on the right was punches with martha Stewart punch.
